How do I dial email@example.com from a Video Conferencing Room?
CSIRO accepts calls from endpoints that support SIP (preferred) or H323.
Video Conferencing vendors use a variety of different dialling formats - please try dialling firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance. If unsuccessful, look for your video conferencing endpoint or infrastructure type in the list below and try the suggested formatting. Please consult your local IT support team if these methods are not successful as outbound calls are heavily dependent on your organisation's IT environment. Support for External Collaborators
Video Conferencing is heavily dependent on the way systems have been implemented within an organisation. As such, any connection issues should be reported to your local IT support team who will be best equipped to troubleshoot the problem with assistance from this document.
CSIRO support can be contacted via your organisation's IT support team by calling +61 2 6276 6838 (option 1, option 1) and asking for the Unified Communications Team. Note that all support is on a best effort basis and due to the wide variety of video conferencing environments, your first step should be providing this document to your organisation's IT support team.
